Our Programs

AGS administers three programs to achieve the objectives of its mission. The primary program is the Good News of the Kingdom of God which is administered to promote the knowledge of God Our Father, and Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the world. The remaining two secondary programs, Living Sustenance and Housing Assistance, are designed to alleviate the impact of poverty on the lives of its victims whom we are able to help. The AGS Global Initiative portal is one of the primary tools that AGS uses to implement its programs globally.

A.    Good News of the Kingdom of God Program

There are approximately 6.5 billion people living on the Earth today. They live on the planet's six continents and many islands dispersed around the world.  All of these people, including we at AGS, are sinners and are, or were at one time, estranged from God, the Creator. In our estrangement from God, we are, or were at one time, lost in sin, doing whatsoever we desired not realizing that the punishment of sin is death and a day of judgment awaits us all. Most importantly, in our estrangement we did or do not realize that God, the Creator, has established a way to deliver us from the punishment of sin, reconcile us to Himself and save us from His wrath.

AGS administers its Good News of the Kingdom of God Program to spread the good news of God's salvation plan for the world which is centered on the death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Our worldwide services include, but are not restricted to, evangelism, the distribution of free copies of the Holy Bible and applicable educational materials, and the support of missionaries in the field. This program is designed to meet the requirements of the mandate given by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to all believers which is, as it is written in Matthew 16: 14-16

"Later (Jesus Christ) appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen. And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

B.    Poverty Alleviation Programs

Approximately 1.1 billion people, the majority of whom are women and children, live in poverty worldwide. We at AGS realize that the condition of poverty exists because of man’s rebellion  from God; i.e., mankind’s disobedience to  God’s laws and principles. As other factors of sin, poverty steals hope and optimism from its victims and, especially for children, steals their future, joy and opportunity to get to know God, their Creator. Poverty was never a part of God’s original purpose for mankind because when He created the Earth, He provided every good thing needed for man’s existence and joy. The Earth is bountiful in its supplies to fill every human need, according to God’s will. God requires all who believe in Him to assist the poor, as it is written:

"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?  Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh?

Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.' "If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, if you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In." Isaiah 58: 6-12

In obedience to God's will, AGS is committed to the alleviation of the impact of poverty on the lives of its victims by the administration of its two poverty alleviation programs. These two programs, Living Sustenance and Housing Assistance, are designed to assist primarily women and children living in poverty. Our assistance includes, but is not restricted to, the supply of food, clothing and shelter to those in need.
